XCI Fashion Show AZ

An exclusive community fashion event bringing together top businesses, nonprofits, and creatives in Arizona to do the most good.

Just wait until you see all the good that we can do together.

OUR MISSION

We are bringing together some of the top nonprofits, businesses, and creatives in the state of Arizona for a fashion show event that highlights the community’s most challenging problems and how nonprofits, businesses and creatives can work together to do the most good in our community.

OUR VISION

We see community impact as a full circle. The businesses make the money, the nonprofits solve for the community issues, and the creatives help tell the story.

WHY A FASHION SHOW?

XCI wanted to do a fashion show for a few reasons. First, we wanted to use recycled clothes donated from one of our nonprofit partners to promote sustainable fashion. Second, art has always been an effective catalyst to share a powerful message, vision, or theme. Our fashion line will have styled pieces which will represent the different community problems that our nonprofit partners work in and attempt to alleviate. Homelessness, addiction, human trafficking, domestic violence, etc are just a few issues that will be showcased on our runway in a cinematic way.

We partnered up with AZ Goods!

AZ Goods was started by the family and founders of Sunshine Acres Children’s Home, an AZ non-profit for 65 years.  AZ Goods is a non-profit organization that works with major well known national retailers to distribute resale, overstock and discontinued products to other non-profits throughout Arizona as well as California, Nevada, Utah and New Mexico.  By working with these major retailers, AZ Goods is keeping these items out of landfills and getting them into the hands of those in need.  “We see the need every day in the people we serve and the charities that we interact with.  AZ Goods is an extension of my great grandparent’s mission and allows us to impact the lives of children and their families throughout Arizona which we are all very excited about”, says Kevin Humphrey, Executive Director and Great Grandson of Sunshine Acre’s founders, Rev. Jim and Vera Dingman.  AZ Goods distributes these goods directly to 501©(3) organizations for pennies on the dollar making sure that EVERY GOOD COUNTS.

  • AZ Goods wants to impact the lives of those in need in the community. We see this event helping us to get these goods into the hands of the organizations that need them at no cost to them. We see it as a full circle opportunity where the businesses fund AZ Goods, AZ Goods distribute the items to those in need, and the creatives help tell the story.

  • Kevin Humphrey, Executive Director of Sunshine Acres Children’s Home, was approached by Good360, a global leader in product philanthropy, to establish a CRP, or Community Redistribution Partner, in the state of Arizona. The decision Humphrey made came down to impact. His great grandparents founded the home in 1954 with next to nothing to start their mission. What started off as a way to help homeless and foster children in their local community grew to a legacy of 7 homes housing up to 70 children. All this was done without State or Federal funding for their care. Sunshine Acres has been a prominent nonprofit in Arizona positively impacting local communities. AZ Goods is an extension of that same mission to help even more children, families and the most needy in the communities we care about.

Let’s talk about how we can do the most GOOD!

Every good counts.

By sourcing product through AZ Goods, philanthropists and nonprofits will be able to maximize its donor dollar to better serve their mission and close the need gap in their community! For every $.08 cents spent you get $1 dollar in retail value. AZ Goods is already moving over $2 million dollars in retail product EACH MONTH. Let’s work together to do the most good for the Arizona community.

WHY CREATE AN EVENT LIKE THIS?

Let’s celebrate the work that Arizona nonprofits do and capture the essence of what is most important in life…you and me.

There is no greater action of love than helping someone who is truly in need. This is our time to use our talents to give back and showcase just how important nonprofit’s work is to our communities.
